Still have a Metzler on the front from the second set of tires. Rear still had some life, but I had the bike on the hoist with the rear end all apart to make the saddle bag bracket modifications so went ahead and replaced it with the Dunlop Elite I got for 50% when a local independent shop closed. With the hard bags I have on mine now, changing a rear tire will be a slightly more complicated project and I didn't want to do it midsummer. I got 7k miles and probably had another 2 to go on it, the front Metzler is holding up well. The Metzler tread wasn't as deep or crowned as the Dunlop but I was able to drag the pegs in the MSF ERC class during the exercises. Dunlop seemed to have plenty of stick on the trip and is holding the crowned shape longer. Max
